Final

My final panorama photo represents the endless amount of information, news, and work one single person can be overwhelmed with. What makes this photo interesting is all of these different papers and newspapers used in the image, were all already read by the subject. The subject keeps the papers around for possible future use.

The viewer of this photo is supposed to be seeing an illusion of a long table, covered with an endless amount of paper or magazines. The initial inspiration for this photo came from myself. My desk I use in my bedroom used to be covered with what seemed to be an endless amount of paper, either from school or something else. I eventually cleaned everything up, but I am always reminded with how messy and unorganized I can become, and this photo is supposed to represent that.

The table used in this photo is not actually as long as the photo is. I took a picture of the same section of the table, but moved and switched the papers out to create an illusion of a longer table, covered in papers. I would like the viewer to approach this photo with the same mindset I had while coming up with the idea. I believe a good amount of people and relate to the idea of what seems to be an endless amount of work set out in front of them. My original idea was to lower the opacity towards the end to make it look like the table was fading away. But keeping it the solid color kept the illusion that the table could be endless, as we do not actually see the end of the table.
